would run today, no medical procedure would be successful without PVC and thermoplastics. When it comes to architecture, plastics
are experiencing an enormous resurgence in popularity, for instance in the construction of the futuristic new Allianz Arena
in Munich. Spectators in the stadium are protected by a roof made of translucent ETFE laminate that is self-cleaning, extremely
fire resistant, and able to adapt to various weather conditions.
